The Canada Pavilion - from design to completion

SNC Lavalin construction workers complete the fastening of nearly 4,000 cubic metres of Canadian red cedar on the Canada Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. The Canadian wood provides an aesthetic 'second skin' to the structure's steel frame. Canadian designers collaborated with local suppliers for construction needs thereby reducing the environmental impact from transport.
