Canada enjoys a special connection with Expo 2010’s host city!
Montréal and Shanghai became sister, or “twin” cities on May 14, 1985. Over the past few decades, many other Canadian cities have been twinned with Chinese cities, fostering new levels of understanding, respect and cooperation between the two countries. Canadian cities can become actively involved in Expo 2010 by partnering with the Government of Canada on a wide range of activities at the Canada Pavilion.
