Unique Collaboration

The Canada Pavilion is the result of a creative collaboration between the Government of Canada and the Cirque du Soleil, one of Canada’s most famous cultural organizations. 

Together with the Government of Canada, Cirque du Soleil designed the creative concept for the pavilion, created the public presentation, produced the cultural program and developed strategic corporate alliances.  The international reputation and network of Cirque du Soleil has helped to promote Canada’s participation in Expo 2010 to a global audience and contributes to making Canada Pavilion a must-see  highlight of Expo 2010.

Complementing this innovative public-private sector alliance is the active engagement of a number of private sector partners.  Their financial support and generous participation has, in part, helped realize the Canada Pavilion’s complementary activities, including our culinary program, our conference and business centre activity and our rich cultural program. With the support of Cirque du Soleil and other corporate partners, Canada is sure to leave a lasting positive impression with Chinese and international visitors to the Canada Pavilion at Expo 2010.
