Power Corporation of Canada

Power Corporation of Canada (PCC) is a respected international investment holding and management company established since 1925 and headquartered in Montreal, Canada.  PCC and three of its Canadian subsidiary companies are listed on Canadian stock exchanges.  PCC's holdings include assets in North America, Europe and Asia.  PCC helped create the Canada China Business Council (CCBC) and has been involved in China since 1978 with investments since 1986 in many different sectors of the growing Chinese economy. Currently, PCC holds a 4.3 % interest in CITIC Pacific, a Hong Kong listed subsidiary of the China CITIC Group.

Power Corporation was the first Canadian company to hold a license to operate as a Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (QFII), which allows the Corporation to invest in the “A” shares stock market in China.  PCC is listed among Fortune's global 500 companies.
