The green wall of the Canada Pavilion is comprised of plants indigenous to both China and Canada.
The Cultural Program of the Canada Pavilion is the result of an unprecedented creative collaboration between the Government of Canada and the Cirque du Soleil.
We would like to thank the corporate partners of the Canada Pavilion for their generous support: our Prestige Partners, Bombardier Inc., the National Film Board of Canada, Power Corporation of Canada and Teck, and our Official Supporter, Research in Motion. Their financial support has in part made the Canada Pavilion Cultural Program possible.
The Cultural Program of the Canada Pavilion celebrates the richness of Canadian culture at Shanghai World Expo 2010. Canada’s Cultural Program features a diversity of Canadian artistic content. With 5.5 million visitors from around the world expected at the Canada Pavilion during the Expo, the Cultural Program is an important international showcase for Canada.
This unique, eclectic and original program brings together the works and performances of 165 artists from all over the country, in disciplines ranging from performing arts to visual arts, and including literature and media arts.
