Partnerships and Trade Program at the Canada Pavilion

Canada Pavilion

World Expos provide a truly ideal forum to promote Canadian interests in a non-commercial environment. During Expo 2010 Shanghai, the Canada Pavilion will offer opportunities to hold activities aimed at furthering Canada’s foreign and trade policy goals, strengthening economic, diplomatic and cultural ties, as well as strengthening the Canada brand in China.

In addition to areas where public activities will be taking place on the first floor of the Canada Pavilion, the second floor will be home to a Conference Centre and Visitors’ Lounge. This space will be available to all levels of government, academia and other organizations, and the private sector, to organize non-commercial activities for targeted, invitation-only audiences. This unique space will be specially outfitted to represent the best of Canada, and will feature an in-house culinary program.

China is Canada's second largest trading partner and the world’s fastest growing economy. It is also among Canada’s largest partners in many areas of bilateral exchanges, research and development, and investment. Take advantage of this excellent opportunity and get involved!
