Canada Signs Participation Contract

On Tuesday, January 22, Canada advanced its plans to participate in the World Exposition Shanghai 2010, by signing an official Participation Contract with the Expo 2010 Coordination Bureau, in Shanghai.

Represented by Canada’s Consul General in Shanghai, Ms. Susan Gregson, and on China’s side by Mr. Hong Hao, Director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, the two sides signed the agreement during a public ceremony at the Expo Coordination Bureau in Pudong, Shanghai.  This event is a follow-up to the announcement made in Montreal, Quebec on January 21, 2008.
