Get Involved!

Getting involved in Expo 2010 will be easy and fun for Canadians of all ages.  Through Engaging Canadians initiatives, you will be encouraged to get involved in the wonder and excitement of Expo 2010.  In Expo 2005, Engaging Canadians initiatives featured youth exchange programs, contests, interactive games, and other Canada-wide projects. Many exciting opportunities for involvement will be developed and shared with Canadians as we get ready for Expo 2010.

How Canadians got involved – Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan

The Toyota Canada Inc. Photography Contest - “Show Us Your Canada: A Celebration of Canada's Communities” asked Canadians to send photos of what Canada meant to them, and Canadians did not disappoint!  Hundreds of images were submitted, showcasing the best of what Canada's communities offer their citizens and the world. Winning photos were displayed at the Canada Pavilion and on Canada's Expo 2005 Website.

Another exciting feature that engaged Canadians in Expo 2005 was the Cyber Explorer modules, where visitors were virtually guided through a special "Quick Quest" experience - a 3D environment populated with the sights and sounds of Canada. These modules were displayed at the Canada Pavilion and selected museums across Canada during Expo 2005.
