Grand Dérangement
Formed in 1998, the group Grand Dérangement hails from Baie Sainte-Marie, an Acadian region in southwest Nova Scotia. The group of four musicians and one dancer takes an eclectic musical approach, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources, including French songs, Celtic music, rock, folk and Broadway musicals. Over their 11-year career, Grand Dérangement have given 750 concerts, released five albums and won two East Coast Music Awards.
Photographs, digital multimedia and paintings by Canadian artists are on display throughout the interior of the Canada Pavilion.
