Kreesha Turner
Kreesha Turner is a popular Canadian R&B/pop recording artist from Alberta. In March 2009, at the Radio Music Awards in Toronto, Kreesha Turner received the Best New Group/Solo Artist (Rhythmic/Dance/Urban) award. Kreesha was also nominated for two JUNO Awards: New Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year.
Shane Yellowbird
Shane Yellowbird is a Canadian country music singer/songwriter from Hobbema, Alberta. In 2007, Shane was named the "Aboriginal Entertainer of the Year" at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards and the "Chevy Trucks Rising Star of the Year" at the Canadian Country Music Awards, and had one of the 10 most played country music songs of the year in Canada in 2007. His most recent album, released in 2009, is It's About Time. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville in the United States.
